Michael Turner

CERTIFIED FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER

Michael Turner board certification in Family, Emergency, and Adult-Geriatric Acute Care practice. Since becoming a full-time Carnegie provider in 2023, he has contributed to elevating quality of care through patient-centered practice, updated clinical guidelines, strengthened documentation standards, and the introduction of advanced medical equipment. In addition to his clinical role, Mike provides formal clinical preceptorships for three post-master’s Nurse Practitioner programs, mentoring the next generation of board-certified Emergency and Acute Care NPs. His commitment extends beyond the hospital, where he was honored as Scoutmaster of the Year (2022) by the Last Frontier Council, volunteered three weeks at the Scouts National Jamboree (2023) to deliver emergency care, and was named Carnegie Hospital Employee of the Month (Feb. 2025). Dedicated to excellence, collaboration, and compassionate care, Mike continues to serve patients, colleagues, and his community with integrity and distinction.

Michelle Sturdivant

NURSE PRACTITIONER-EMERGENCY MEDICINE

Michelle Sturdivant, MSN, FNP-BC is an accomplished Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience across multiple areas of acute and primary care. She has dedicated over nine years to Emergency Medicine and has additionally operated her own telemedicine clinic for the past five years, providing accessible, high-quality care to patients across diverse settings. Originally from Oklahoma City, Michelle was raised in Wyoming and Denver, where she completed her early education before returning to Oklahoma to pursue a career in nursing. She earned her Associate Degree in Nursing in 2010 and went on to develop a broad clinical background in Intensive Care, Emergency Medicine, Oncology, Medical-Surgical, and other acute care areas. Michelle completed her Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner certification at Maryville University in 2016, followed by her Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification from Walden University. Her dual certification reflects her commitment to providing comprehensive care across the lifespan and in complex, high-acuity environments. Passionate about advancing patient outcomes through evidence-based practice, Michelle is dedicated to delivering safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care. She is known for her clinical expertise, professionalism, and strong commitment to the communities she serves. Michelle resides in Oklahoma City and enjoys spending time with her four children and four grandchildren.
